My Story

I selected Ithaca College for my undergraduate studies in part because they offered an “undeclared" major and because I fell in love with the beauty of the campus and upstate New York. Upon completion of a bachelor's degree in speech communication, I worked at Long Island University as a career development counselor while earning a master's degreee In education with a specialization in school counseling. I loved coaching and mentoring students to help them achieve their goals. I spent the next years working for some of the biggest corporations in the world, including Dow Jones & Co., EY (Ernst & Young), Teva Pharmaceuticals and Verizon. Eventually, I realized how much I missed helping people reach their goals. I discovered the My College Max program thanks to my mother, and everything else just fell into place. Because I wish I had this program available to me when I was in high school and college, it's now my mission to help as many students as possible pick a major and a college that will help them graduate on time, find success in college, and start a gratifying career.
